通常會需要進入 Single User Mode 有幾種情形：
1.忘記 root 密碼，前任管理員離職時，沒有交接 root 密碼
2.root密碼正確，但是無法登入，可能是 SELinux 或是 PAM 造成
3.備份或是還原
